Clan members are welcome to attend the CMS USA Annual General Meeting and in Milwaukee, Wisonconsin. Download the program and registration form from here. Finally, members are also welcome at our mid-year AGM, which is held during the Scottish Christmas festival in Alexandria, VA, on the first weekend in December. There are Clan MacLeod national societies in TEN countries and at-large members in many other countries, worldwide. Generally the Societies exist so that members can share their enthusiasm for our common heritage and ancestry, celebrate the contributions that MacLeods have made to our own countries and to the world, and promote and preserve the traditional arts and culture of Scotland.
The Clan MacLeod Society USA was founded in 1954 to establish a foundation for charitable, historical and educational pursuits for clan members living in the United States. Since then it has grown to have members in all fifty states, which the Society has divided into thirteen administrative regions. New England - without Vermont, which belongs to our Northeast Region - is one of those administrative regions.
